Some days I amaze myself. Other days I put the milk in the cup cupboard.

My day:

Woke up went to the bathroom, ate a banana, drank a glass of milk and then proceeded to tell my dog the different reasons why he’s so cute. I finally got dressed brushed my teeth, threw my hair up into a messy bun, my specialty, and hopped in my car on my way to the dance studio.

On the way to the studio I realized 2 things:

  1. I couldn’t remember the last time I showered
  2. Did I put the milk back in the fridge

And naturally about 5 seconds later I forgot all about those things that may or may not be important to some people. At the studio I had a very successful dress rehearsal for some of my dancers, inclusive of lipstick the lingering smell of hairspray and sparkles! Came home and finally unpacked from my trip to Cuba almost three weeks ago, did some laundry, prepped for my preschool class and binge watched Grace and Frankie on Netflix. Productive and oh so amazing right?—- still thinking about my bathing habits and memory loss towards milk placement?

Long story short, I DID NOT put the milk back in the fridge and I still DON’T remember the last time I had showered. (Before tonight. I showered tonight so I’m back on track) The milk however was found in the cup cupboard but thankfully enough, my cup was not found in the fridge but safely in the sink. PHEW.

Well ladies and gents THIS. IS. ME.

Some days I amaze myself and other days I put the milk back in the cup board. Some days it’s a double whammy of standing ovation, confetti flying trophy award winning kind of day. Other days I’m holding my life together with 1 bobby pin. But that is what life is all about. You and I both know that sometimes things just don’t go our way and we want to scream at the world and blame the Robin outside our window for waking us up before our alarm which caused us to spill our coffee, or tea, or vodka (hey I don’t judge), on our new shirt!
If you have one of those days, confetti flying or vodka spilling, I hope you will come on an adventure with me and share a laugh, a cry, or vent about how disgusting relish is on hot dogs— side note I do not agree with that statement but I know some who do.
duvet is here to provide you with a laugh about life, a new cool thing I bought, get silly while tasting a new varietal of wine or even share some pillow talk about relationships with you. OR we could start a debate about relish! Overhear an inspiring quote? Share it! Have something you want to say? Let me share your story!
